ACMT Position Statement: Addressing Pediatric Cannabis Exposure

The increasing access to legalized cannabis products across the US has resulted in an increase in accidental exposures, including those among children <12 years of age. The American College of Medical Toxicology has just released its position statement on preventing unintentional pediatric exposures to cannabis. These recommendations focus on cannabis (product) packaging and labeling, and storage at home, and intend to minimize accidental (often exploratory) ingestions.
